🍳 Is someone staying in the kitchen while food is cooking?
🔌 Are extension cords being used as permanent wiring?
🔥 Are space heaters at least three feet away from anything that can burn?
🧺 Is the lint being cleaned from your dryer?
🕯️ Are candles kept away from children, pets, curtains, and anything combustible?
⚡ Are damaged electrical cords, chargers, or batteries still being used?
🚪 Are hallways, doors, and other escape routes clear?
🚨 Are your smoke alarms working?
Fire safety doesn’t have to be complicated.
Most of it comes down to recognizing hazards, developing good habits, and fixing small problems before they have the opportunity to become big ones.
