Clay County Fire & Rescue is proud to announce we will be transitioning our fleet from traditional red fire apparatus to a modern lime-yellow finish |

| After careful evaluation, we have determined this transition can be completed at zero cost to taxpayers by simply… not washing the trucks anymore—made possible thanks to the current exceptionally generous pollen levels across Clay County, which have already begun handling the repainting process for us. We anticipate returning to our traditional red color scheme sometime this fall, pending rain, gravity, and a strong enough pressure washer. We appreciate the community’s continued support during this “natural rebranding effort.” In the meantime, if you see our trucks looking a little extra… fuzzy… just know they are still fully in service—just with a fresh coat of spring. Stay safe, and bless your sinuses. |
