| Clay County Fire & Rescue, in partnership with Tendercare, is starting a TenderID Pilot Program right here in our community.
🔹 What is TenderID? It’s a wallet-sized QR card (with optional home decal) that links to important medical information such as medications, allergies, medical conditions, and emergency contacts.
🔹 Why does it matter? If you’re unable to communicate during an emergency, first responders can scan the QR code and quickly access critical information that may affect your care.
🔹 Who should consider one? • Seniors • Individuals with chronic medical conditions • Anyone taking multiple medications • Caregivers managing care for a loved one • Anyone who wants an added layer of emergency preparedness
đź’˛ The program is FREE to residents. There is a cost to the department to purchase these in bulk, so we want to make sure there is community interest before placing a large order.
❓ Have questions? Send us a message! Our Public Information Officer will be happy to walk you through how the program works and help determine if it’s right for you or your loved one.
âś… Interested? If you would like to receive a FREE TenderID card, please complete our interest form clayncfire.org/tenderid
Cards will be distributed in the order requests are received.
📝 Don’t want to wait? Clay County Fire & Rescue is ordering TenderID cards in bulk for convenience and local distribution. However, residents and caregivers do not have to wait for our shipment to arrive. If you prefer, you may request a TenderID directly — at no cost — by visiting Tendercare’s website at: https://trytendercare.com/tenderid/
Whether you receive one through our pilot program or order directly online, our goal is simply to make sure our community has access to this free emergency preparedness resource.
Let’s work together to make Clay County safer and better prepared.
